(Pop. 5, 209) 270 km (169 mi) east of Toronto, 16 km (10 mi) west of the 1000 Islands Bridge, 262 km (163 mi) west of Montreal A popular resort town and gateway to the 1000 Islands, centrally located on the St. Lawrence River, midway between Toronto and Montreal and minutes to Kingston or Brockville. The town offers activities for all ages: historic buildings, museums, St. Lawrence Islands National Parks, fishing, hiking, boating, snowmobiling, theatre and numerous festivals, carnivals and fairs and boat tours of the 1000 Islands.

(Pop. 21,590)Brockville - the City of the 1000 islands - is the oldest incorporated municipality in Upper Canada. Commonly referred to as the "Pride of the St. Lawrence", it is characterized with unique Victorian architecture scattered throughout the southern part of the city, and a historic revitalized down town. The focal point of this area is the only New England Square found in Canada with the city's courthouse majestically placed at the top of the square. Brockville boasts a spectacular waterfront and harbour with a newly constructed boardwalk that meanders along the waterfront and throughout the city. Attractions include our 1000 Islands boat cruise, summer theatre, mansion tours, oldest railway tunnel in Canada, museums and ghost walks. Each season brings many festivals including Ookpik, Multicultural Festival, Riverfest, Automotion, Poker Run and Fall Fair. |

Sharbot Lake/Ontario/Canada
Sharbot Lake, located 120 km West of
Ottawa and 85 km North of Gananoque is about 15km long housing many cottages
along its shores and bays and on its wooded islands. A fisherman's,
paradise, the lake is restocked annually from the Government Hatcheries with
bass, northern pike, and pan fish. Bring your fishing rods, pick up your
bait locally, and be prepared for some of the best fishing of your life!
